Sports and Movie Fans to Be Paired With Celebrities at Golf Tournament in Jamaica
Up to 100 lucky fans will play golf during a Caribbean vacation with the likes of Michael Jordan and Angela Bassett at the Terrell Buckley Celebrity Golf Weekend in Jamaica, April 15-18.

play golf with black celebrities and white celebrities at The Terrell Buckley Celebrity Golf Weekend in Jamaica April
16.
Luminaries ranging from basketball legend Michael Jordan to actors
Angela Bassett and Robert Townsend and former New York Giants’ linebacker
Lawrence Taylor have accepted Buckley’s invitation to join in a fund-raising
golf weekend at the famed Ritz-Carlton Golf and Spa Resort in Montego Bay April
15-18.
T-Buck, who played for the New York Jets last season, organized
the celebrity golf weekend to benefit the Mustard Seed Communities, a non-profit
organization caring for babies and children with disabilities.
The NFL
star knows his fan base and appreciates their support. So, to include them in
the fun, he opened the exclusive weekend to 100 lucky guests who will mingle,
golf and reggae-dance with dozens of their favorite stars while benefiting
Jamaica’s youth.
Other celebrities who will attend The Terrell Buckley Celebrity Golf Weekend include actors
Vivica Fox, Malik Yoba, Orlando Bloom and Scott Bailey, the Miami Heat’s
Shaquille O'Neal, Grammy award-winning rap artist Kanye West and NFL players
Marshall Faulk and Derrick Brooks.
The weekend’s events will include a
silent auction Friday, April 15, with items such as a Jacob watch, Caribbean
vacation, Bulgari necklace and football mementos, and an award presentation and
a Jamaican beach party on the shores of the Caribbean following the golf
tournament.
A VIP cocktail reception and “pairing party” will be held
Friday night, where up to 100 fans will be paired with a celebrity for the next
day’s golf at the White Witch Golf Course in Jamaica.
Tickets for the
celebrity golf weekend are still available for fans interested in attending. An
all-inclusive package of $4,000 includes two round-trip airfares on Air Jamaica;
accommodations at the Ritz-Carlton for two; all meals, beverages, taxes,
gratuities and airport transfers in Jamaica for two; and two rounds of golf on
Saturday, April 16. A third person in the room is available for an additional
$1,900.
