Students were eager to hear Glenn Toby talk about his rise from
Homelessness to representing some of the most prestigious athletes and
entertainers the world has known, including three-time Superbowl star Asante
Samuels of the New England Patriots. Mr. Toby articulated to high school
students that the road to freedom begins with education and leads to success. In
the Historic B.N. Duke Auditorium of NCCU students were applauding Glenn Toby
for his all-inspiring message on working in the Sports and Entertainment
Industry.
Mayor William “Bill” Bell of Durham, North Carolina, honored
Mr. Glenn Toby with accolades and a solid gold key to the city. The mayor
expressed his shared views of Glenn Toby’s success with The Book Bank
Foundation, which fights illiteracy, and provides food, clothing, books, and
scholarships to thousands. Glenn told the crowd his mission for starting The
Book Bank Foundation was to: to promote and advocate the war against illiteracy
by committing to express the best interests of children and young adults
nationwide. This mission is driven by using motivational speaking, models of
positive behavior, scholastic achievement, and resourceful thinkers to stimulate
self-esteem, academic achievement, future goal setting, and accomplishment in
our communities where illiteracy lives. “We are committed to our communities and
focused on the children of the future in order to help them secure their
individual prosperity.”
Glenn Toby’s persona makes him one of the most
requested motivational speakers on the university circuit. He has major appeal
and support from Tommy Hilfiger, Triple Five Soul clothing, G-Unit Clothing and
Omavi Clothing. Mr. Toby has worked closely with Entertainment Moguls such as
50-cent, L.L. Cool J. and sports Celebrities Venus and Serena Williams. Lights
