New Fly Fishing Related Packaging Design Moves Into Expanded Markets
New packaging solution improves product longevity and storage needs. New re-sealable bag eliminates product damage from package reuse. The new feature of these bags is simple and unique. They have zippers on both ends of the bag. Zippered Double Opening (ZDO) Feather and Craft Bags are designed for materials with a prominent grain, such as feathers, animal hair, and other fly tying materials. Just remove the product from one end of the bag, and insert into the other side.
Middleton, WI (PRWEB) May 15, 2005 – New re-sealable plastic bag eliminates
product damage and encourages package reusability. New poly plastic bags have
zippers on both ends, allowing products such as feathers, rooster hackle,
feather pelts, and flash to be inserted and removed without damage. Zippered
Double Opening (ZDO) Feather and Craft Bags were developed by TroutGeek Products
as a packaging solution for products with a prominent grain.
Until now,
zipper re-sealable bags only provided one zipper. When storing products with a
prominent grain, damage can occur when either inserting or removing the product
from the bag. For fly tying, this can be very frustrating. Rooster hackles can
be very expensive, and this very simple feature can really save the fly tyer a
lot of money. ZDO bags are also great as stuff sacks. If an item is at the
bottom of the bag, just open the other end.
John Koch, of Trout Lily
Studios, says “Got my order of ZDO Bags today in the mail, and couldn't be more
pleased. I got the assortment pack of 20; I've spent the afternoon re-bagging
all my saddles, necks and loose feathers in the new double-ended bags. For those
that don't know, ZDO bags are a wonderfully simple idea (one of those "doh!! Why
didn't I think of that?" ideas) marketed by Mr. TroutGeek himself. Thanks,
Bob!"
ZDO bags began as a fly tying material storage solution, but craft
and food products can also benefit. There are many craft materials that are
similar (and the same) as fly tying materials. And certain vegetables and fruits
could find a use for ZDO’s, such as organic long-leaf lettuce, and farm fresh
carrots (with greens still attached).
