Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) June 11, 2005 -- A new online newspaper called The Fan’s
Voice (www.thefansvoice.com) launched today providing college
football coverage. Fans will be given the opportunity to become writers.
Coverage of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and Southeastern Conference
(SEC) is currently offered with complete national coverage of all conferences
coming this fall.
Fans can register for free at www.thefansvoice.com and
submit articles for their favorite teams or even rival teams. Fans of all ages
are encouraged to get involved. The Fan’s Voice hopes to generate an interactive
online news source focused on the fan’s perspective.
“We want to bring
fans together and give aspiring writers or die hard fans a chance to express
themselves,” said Christopher Akers, Publisher for The Fan’s Voice. Doug Knebel,
Editor for The Fan’s Voice, added, “We are fans who love to interact with other
fans of even our hated rivals. The fans are what makes college sports so
special.” The Fan’s Voice staff will be traveling to various games to meet fans.
The weekly schedule can be found online.
The Fan’s Voice is based out of
Atlanta and will be covering the ACC and SEC initially. They hope to capture the
attention of the large transient population in Atlanta as well as a full
national audience who want to see coverage for all schools. Dates have not yet
been announced for the expansion of coverage.
