Ottawa Loves Card Football!
CSE Games shows Card Football to the public for its first viewing and gets an overwhelming respose in Ottawa.
OTTAWA (PRWEB) Aug. 1, 2005 -- Card Sports & Entertainment, Inc. (CSE)
went public during the weekend of June 4th and 5th. No, it’s not what you think.
The company demonstrated its first sports-based playing card game, Card
Football, to the public for the first time.
CSE’s first stop was
Entertainment Ink, a fine collectibles store at the Place d’Orleans Shopping
Centre in Orleans, ON. From noon and 4:00 PM, hundreds of shoppers walked by the
booth to check out the game and chat with CSE co-founder Fabio Del Rio and
Marketing & Sales Manager Paolo Del Rio.
Next for CSE was Ottawa’s
oldest sports collectibles show, The Capital Trade Show. The show took place in
downtown Ottawa, at Lansdowne Park’s Coliseum building (next to Frank Clair
Stadium and the Ottawa Civic Centre, homes of the Renegades of the CFL and the
67’s of the OHL, respectively). Hundreds of collectors who were on hand to fill
their card and comic collecting needs came by the CSE booth to try out Card
Football for the first time.

“It was quite gratifying to see how,
without exception, everybody that played Card Football this weekend truly
enjoyed the experience,” said Paolo. “To see players quickly grasp the game and
then get truly excited about each offensive or defensive stand was pretty
cool.”
Game players equally enjoyed their experiences. “I’m getting this
game when it comes out.” said Zach Quevillon, 14. “It is fun.” Scott Molnar, 25,
added simply “It’s a really good game.”
“These are not typical events to
showcase a new board game,” said Fabio. “We were pleasantly surprised by the
interest and enthusiasm from the public.”
In addition to playing Card
Football, players had the opportunity to enter a draw to win some great prizes,
provided by SportFX International (www.sportfx.com).
