Custom PhotoBalls Sure to Score with Every "All Star" - from Basketball to Hockey
PhotoBallsOnline.com announces new process to create one of a kind sports mementos for awards, keepsakes and fundraising. New curved surface printing process allows any photo to be imprinted on the sports ball of your choice - something for every sport - from football to hockey.
Cincinnati, OH (PRWEB) October 22, 2003 -- It's every young athlete's dream
to be a star - and the family owned company of PhotoBallsOnline.com, hopes to
make that dream a reality with their new product - a specially treated sports
ball imprinted with the photo of that special sports moment.
A sports
star's photo on a football or baseball isn't new - but until recently, the high
cost of the process meant that
it could only be done in mass quantities. Now,
with new technology making custom printing on a curved surface more cost
effective, balls can be imprinted one at a time, for a truly unique gift or
award.
"Whether it's your daughter scoring her first goal in soccer, or
your son in his Little League uniform, this is a way to capture the most
important times in their childhood," says company founder, Bob Schroeder. "It's
something that
can be displayed and kept for years, and it's a lot more
meaningful than another trophy or plaque that looks just like the one they got
last year. "
The parent company, Schroeder Marketing of Cincinnati, Ohio,
has been involved in fundraising products for the school and amateur sports
market for several years, but always with an emphasis on the "non-traditional"
products - in other words, they don't sell candy bars and cookie
dough.
"We never felt that selling something like candy or pizza was
appropriate for a sports program. After all, we are supposed to be teaching our
kids a healthier way to live by participating in sports. Candy bars just don't
seem to reinforce that concept," comments Schroeder.
Instead, the company
focuses on personalized keepsakes such as custom mini football helmets, beanie
bears with logo sweaters and now PhotoBalls. But even this product
won't be
sold through the "traditional" online store. Instead, they have developed a
unique program that will allow any team or group to have their own "custom"
store, online access to sales reports and stats 24 hours a day, with no set-up
fees or ongoing expenses.
With alliances already in place with some of
the largest youth and amateur sports leagues in the country, Schroeder Marketing
estimates that more than 500 of the custom internet stores should be live by the
end of the year.
A special point of sale counter display, allowing brick
& mortar merchants to simply sell a pre-addressed PhotoBall mailer, with no
inventory to stock, will be available Nov. 1 - just in time for the Christmas
shopping season.
Schroeder Marketing is a family owned company, based in
Cincinnati, Ohio. The company has a well established presence in the specialty
product market, with it's primary focus on the creation of personalized
collectibles for the sports and school fundraising marketplace.
