Tom Arma began his
photographic career as the youngest staff photographer at the New York Daily
News, where his diverse assignments garnered him hundreds of journalism awards.
He later requested reassignment to the paper's magazine section, where he
photographed many famous stars and luminaries. Eventually leaving journalism to
open his own studio and concentrate on magazine and advertising work, he shot
successful campaigns for Fortune 500 companies as well as covers for numerous
prestigious publications. He began working with babies in 1972 and his work
photographing costumes children graced the covers of magazines throughout the
80s. His costumed cuties have been featured in magazines, are the subjects of
