GRAYSON, LA (PRWEB) January 23, 2005 -- The annual Valentine Fundraiser
sponsored by Youth Organization of Generation 2000 is underway according to
Alicia Bradley, director of the organization. "We partner with schools and
churches for this event," states Bradley. "They will benefit 50% profit from the
sales they make."
This year's fundraiser features colorful Valentine
gifts such as red and white bears and roses, colorful mugs filled with Jelly
Bellies, picture frames, and heart-shaped Jelly Belly-filled baskets.
Youth Organization of Generation 2000, a non-profit organization, was
established to assist at-risk youth, but as needs have presented themselves have
expanded into other areas as well. "Our programs include a youth shelter,
mentoring, a national crisis line, tutorial centers, a work program for mentally
and physically challenged individuals, a Christian summer camp, and feeding and
clothing the homeless," explains Bradley.
