Advanced Math and Science Academy Charter School is looking for curriculum developers and expert teachers in English Language Arts, World Literature, and Chemistry.
(PRWEB) January 28, 2005 -- AMSA will have 12 subjects: Math, Computer
Science/Information Technology/Engineering Design, Physics, Chemistry, Biology,
World Geography, History, World Literature, English Language, Foreign Language,
Art/Arts History, and Physical Education. AMSA will use unique curricula in all
subjects. The team of professionals - experts in each subject’s field has
developed the outlines.
We are currently in the process of selecting a
group of professionals who will turn the outlines into syllabi for 6th and 7th
grades.
The syllabus should consist of the detailed curriculum, lesson
schedule, teacher's manual and include examples of assignments, quiz and test
problems in a few difficulty levels. The outline should provide the distribution
of classroom hours by topics.
For the curriculum and syllabi development
we are looking for the English Language Arts, World Literature, and Chemistry
experts to work on the consulting basis to develop syllabi for 7th
grade.
The potential candidates should have a M.S. degree or Ph.D. in a
corresponding field and at least 10 years of teaching experience at middle and
high school levels (middle school to college level preferred) as well as
experience in developing learning materials and participating in innovative
educational projects.
In addition, we are looking for the experienced
teachers in 7 foreign languages that AMSA will offer: Latin, French, Portuguese,
Spanish, Russian, Chinese, and Hebrew.
