Martial Arts Master from "Karate Kid" Movies to Give Seminar in Tucson and Phoenix, Arizona
On Friday and Saturday, October 29th and 30th, 2004, hundreds of martial artists across Arizona will be participating in seminars taught by Martial Artists Legend Fumio Demura. Master Demura, the stunt double for “Mr. Miyagi” of the “Karate Kid” movies, will stop in Arizona to celebrate his 40th anniversary of relocating from Japan to America and spreading Martial Arts across the United States, South America and Europe.

Dojo, is hosting seminars with Master Fumio Demura in Tucson and Phoenix
Arizona. Fumio Demura is a world-renowned Martial Arts expert and has
choreographed many movies in Hollywood. He has played the stunt double for Pat
Morita in the four "Karate Kid" movies. Mr. Demura has been inducted into the
Black Belt Magazine Hall of Fame as "Karate Sensei Award" in 1969 and “Martial
Artist of the Year” in 1975 and is currently the Director and Chief Instructor
for the Shito-Ryu Karate-Do Genbu-Kai; an organization encompassing nearly
twenty nations and thousands of members.
Master Demura has not visited
Arizona for more than fifteen years, and will be conducting two special seminars
to expand the knowledge of the Ancient Arts to practitioners in the area. Many
martial artist young and old have enjoyed the exclusive seminars and unique
instruction and style of Master Demura. A participant attending one of his
