IBF Cruiserweight Champion ONeil "SuperNova" Bell (25-1-1, 23 KOs) defends his Championship Belt against Sebastian Rothmann, (18-4-2), with a devastating knockout in the 11th round.
(PRWEB) August 29, 2005 -- IBF Cruiserweight Champion ONeil "SuperNova" Bell
(25-1-1, 23 KOs) defends his Championship Belt with a devastating knockout in
the 11th round.
It was a classic championship match. Super Nova
overpowered the challenger, Sebastian Rothmann, (18-4-2), with an amazing right
hand knock out.
Bell commented "He is a good fighter and was in great
shape, but I just needed to pace myself until I saw an opening."
Rothmann
kept Bell on the defensive during the bout. After a cautious first round, the
action intensified in the final minutes of the second, when Rothmann pinned Bell
on the ropes and landed solid lefts to the head, while Bell countered with
combinations to the head. Oneil showed the power of a true Champion by praying
for the fallen boxer as Rothmann was left laying unconscious for several
minutes.
Oneil Bell said: "When I saw him laying there I just hoped I
didn't kill him. "
I am facing a great deal of adversity right now. God
has given me the ability to overcome the greatest of
challenges."
Celebrity sports agent Glenn Toby said: "The last fight
ended up working to our advantage because the non believers didn't get to see
the real SuperNova. Now they see there is a new star in the world of
boxing."
Tonight Bell added as much value to the IBF Cruiserweight
Champion Division as the impact of his right hand punch."
