(PRWEB) August 5, 2005 -- Jurgen van den Goorbergh, the 36-years old racing
champion will be participating for the Husqvarna Team Ben van Erp in the ISDE
2005, which is being held in Slovakia from 13 to 18 September.
Currently,
Jurgen van den Goorbergh is having a kind of a quiet time with regard to racing.
Because his passion lies with everything with an engine (and can go fast!), he's
deploying various activities to use his talents and to stay in shape.
On
his website (http://www.vdgoorbergh.com) he writes that he's racing cars at
the moment and working with Riders for Health: an initiative to help people in
Africa. Since the tsunami hit Asia on Boxing Day 2004, Jurgen van den Goorbergh
and his spouse Misha started an auction (http://www.driversaid.net) to support the survivors in
building up a new life.
Jurgen van den Goorbergh did a lot of trialing in
his past, while in 1993 he also participated in the ISDE. The past months,
Jurgen practiced intensively in the mountains in Southern France. His goal is to
also ride the International Six Days Enduro of 2006 in New
Zealand.
Jurgen will ride the ISDE 2005 in Slovakia on an Husqvarna
TE-250.
