Clock Tick Tock Ticking, But Will the Band Play On? PopiKoK.com Find out for Yourself

PopiKoK a Los Angeles based band asked to play the "Cannes Film Festival" in such events as the party for Michael Moore, Kevin Bacon, Ivana Trump and fashion show by designer Diane von Fuerstenberg. Needs to find the funds by Monday and fly Tuesday at the latest to keep their dream from feeling as a nightmare. Trade 30K of Advertising space in high profile, week long, Synergy House event for expenses covered. Approx. 8K Any help appreciated.

(PRWEB) December 8, 2004 -- Only five days ago the main members of PopiKoK (Michael Satro and Jan Pomerans)were back in the studio working on the "Top Secret" music project they will be releasing in March. When Desmond of the "Thievery Corp." came by. Listened. Bingo milano PopiKoK is going to Cannes. "Thievery are brilliant and we were fueled to be asked especially by the act. Desmond is a smooth cat. Not one percent of one percent of my mind ever considered playing at the event." Not only are they getting to play but have been asked to play the Michael Moore party Kevin Bacon, Ivana Trump and Diane von Fuersteberg fashion show. "Perfect world scenerio. Perfect." says Michael (lead singer and co-writer for PopiKoK). But it has a catch.

As everything does.

The budget had been closed for weeks so in comes the Ultimatum. PopiKoK has been given the rights to use high profile advertisement space, and product promotion in all week long events at the "Synergy House" (promoters)in the event space. "Time might end up clipping us. A chance like this may only come once in a lifetime and I will not give in to fear and be defeated just yet", Says Michael . "We are meant to be there and hit them hard. You know a little show and sell. The first sip of what's in the album.

Look yes I want to play and it's a great opportunity there is no way I would go thru all this complete heart attack if I did not think it was a great deal all around." Said Jan Pomerans Co/writer musical genius. "I'm afraid the clock is ticking all we can do now is play music and not obsess on the rest it. We will be forced to use our master plan." In busts Michael-" And with the shape of the buisness today it may be the only way to get our stuff heard. From that point it's up to you guys. I can guarantee it get will get listened to. If we don't kick the door in someones going to . Why not us? $$%* it!"

Lets hope these guys make it.
