Customer Rating: Summary: The best patho book out there...and great for A & P, too Comment: As both a student & educator, this is by far the best patho book I've come across. It is also wonderful for review of anatomy & physiology. I love the way the chapters are sequenced with normal A & P of each system, followed by a chapter on patho related to that particular system. Gives you a picture of "this is how it ought to work" and then "this is what happens when it doesn't work properly." This book ought to be on every healthcare students bookshelf regardless of discipline.
Customer Rating: Summary: Good to have for reference Comment: If you want to know how fight or flight started in the microscopic detail this is your guide. This book gives you the fine detail on how parts of your body work and they start at the cellular level. Good book!!
Customer Rating: Summary: Good Comment: My teacher made this book a required text for my class. I am glad that she did, because the book is very informative and goes into good enough detail for me to understand the cause and effect of a disease.
Customer Rating: Summary: This text is disorganized Comment: I feel the guyton pathophysiology text is much better. This text covers subjects over several chapters. For example if you look up fever you will have to go to six places to read and get the whole pathophysiology on fever. The layout does not make sense. I will be selling this text when I am done with class.
Customer Rating: Summary: Informative book Comment: This book is full of tons of patho information. Good luck with the class. So far, so good for me.
