Works great and I am sure as I become more comfortable with the process it will work even better. My mother used a pressure canner all my life, but was careful not to let me near it which put a fear in me of pressure cookers. I do believe you have to respect a pressure cooker and follow the directions carefully to avoid mishaps. Customer Rating: Summary: IT BLEW UP !!! Only bad thing,it will scratch your ceramic/glass cooktop if you slide it across the surface. Just pick it up instead of sliding. Shipping from Amazon was very quick. She works and needed another one so when she lets one cool down she can fill the other one and get it on to heat up.
