One of the most enjoyable things we ate while there was a fresh huckleberry pie. So I ordered this pie filling to make our own pie here in Colorado. The pie turned out great retaining that unique "huckleberry taste" we remembered from Montana. Using this pie filling rather than frozen or fresh huckleberries avoids a big problem many people encounter and that is huckleberries are so juicy they can soak through and saturate the pie crust and many people have reported the pie can turn into mush. Treat yourself to this very unique pie filling, you WILL NOT be disappointed. Customer Rating: Summary: Not the greates Comment: We were hoping for a lot more quality. The berries are hard like little raisins even before cooking. We had previously used a product by Litehouse and were very satisfied, but, since this was cheaper...
