Summary: good but not complete
Comment: the 5 dvd set was good but it is incomplete and leaves the resolution unsolved. Since this is the second of the "outlaw years" with 22 episodes, I was disappointed. What happens to the characters in a finale is not told. These episodes are good but . . .

Summary: Excellent entertainment for the buck.
Comment: OK, I'm addicted to this series. I love westerns and this gave me my fix! If you loved the original Lonesome Dove, this is the life of Woodrow Call's son, "Newt". I just want to know if there are any more of the series because I'm hanging out wanting to know what happens next with Newt and Mattie.

Comment: This DVD left a lot of questions to be answered. When an episode would end, there were a lot of questions left unanswered. EX: What happened to the boy who was saved from hanging and others? The most disappointing was at the end. What happened to Newt, the gunsmith, the rest of the main cast??????????????? What is the sequence to this saga????????
