Summary: Dated Comedy That Doesn't Age Very Well!
Comment: It's a funny thing about comedy; it seems to be of and for its time and very few age very well. I remember as a kid when I first watched this film that I laughed until I cried. Then I watched it again a few years ago and I absolutely hated it. Now after having watched this again I have to admit that many of the jokes don't pack as much of a punch as they did when I first watched this film although parts of the film do manage to raise a chuckle from time to time.
This is why I really respect some of the older comedians that can still get a laugh out of me after many, many years such as some of Buster Keaton's (Sherlock Jr.) and especially Charlie Chaplin's work (Modern Times, City Lights, The Gold Rush, The Great Dictator etc) not to mention the Marx Brothers (Duck Soup, and the other movies)too. I've come to realise that as much as I enjoyed and laughed at scenes from "Meet the Parents" and "Something About Mary" for example that future generations will probably wonder what the fuss was all about just like the way many of the reviewers with negative reviews feel about this film. That's why I'm convinced you cannot have a "funniest comedy of all time!" because what is funny for one generation very rarely remains so for another. Still, this was enjoyable for its nostalgic value to me as it reminds me of my very early childhood days and about how easy it is to make a child laugh and about how much harder it is now to do the same for me as an adult.
The dvd itself has average sound quality in Dolby 2.0 Surround and the picture quality hasn't been restored and so is full of spots and other imperfections barely rising above VHS quality.
Certainly funny when it first came out and when I first watched it but now to be fair like most comedies, it has lost much of its hilarity but it is still amusing to watch the late, great Peter Sellers at work.

Comment: I enjoyed this sequel; I think it is the funniest one after the 1964 original Pink Panther film. Some of the slapstick is hilarious.

Comment: I find it's not funny at all. I don't know why British-style comedies usually do not attract me. So far, the only British comedies I like are Mr. Bean, Benny Hill show and Charlie Chaplin.

Comment: This motion picture, is not included in the MGM collection, it's a need to get it, to complete the PINK PANTHER series.

Summary: Pretty darn good for a sequal !!!!
Comment: Hey, for the third installment of the Pink Panther franchise. It's not that bad. The acting was excellent as ususal. The plot is a simple one. The famous Pink Panther diamond is stolen once again and all clues are pointing to that rouge jewel thief "The Phantom". Clouseau is brought in to solve the case. But there is one problem, this time "The Phantom" aka ,Sir Charles Lytton really didn't do it this time. So, now both Closeau and Lytton must race to figure out this mystery before they are both killed.
