Comment: Like the last review, I too am picky about my sauce, and make my own. However, this stuff is REALLY good. There is one of the flavors I don't like (can't think of which one), but this Red Heirloom is EXCELLENT. Highly recommend it. This sauce is robust, not too sweet, not tart, really...just right. I am first generation Italian, and I give this two thumbs up!

Comment: I am so picky about tomato sauces that I usually make my own. Dave's Gourmet Organic Red Heirloom Tomato Sauce is the absoluate, hands down, best! It tastes so good, and the beauty of it is that there is nothing unwholesome in it - just a lot of delicious organic foods and their flavors. the texture is a little chunky (nicely so), there is no sour tomato taste, everything is balanced, not too much salt or flavor enhancers or cover-ups. It's just super delicious from the first to the last bite. The fact that it is organic is a huge plus.
