Comment: I bought these clipers by mistake. I wanted a plugin razor. I use this
as an electric razor. It works fine. I also gave my self a hair cut.

Summary: Whooops -- accidents with good results
Comment: I was planning to order a hair clipper for myself. I didn't notice that this was for "pets." When it arrived, I almost sent it back -- then I started to examine it and realized, "Hey, this is first class."
I decided to try it on myself -- and I love it. Heavy-duty. Great value. I can't believe it cost so little and turns out to be so perfect.
I even use it on my miniature schnauzer to spruce him up from time to time.

Comment: I tried some others before (from friends and relatives) finally decided to buy this one although I hadn't use it before, but I think is the best one so far!! love it!! works so smooth and easy!! even my puppy loves it!!

Summary: Long hair? Don't bother.
Comment: I should have listened to the review about not buying if your dog has long hair. I followed all the instructions, going from the longest comb to the smallest. It just kept getting stuck - had to keep taking the combs off and on. Finally, ended up grooming her with a scissors. All in all, not a good experience for me.

Summary: Does NOT Work on Cat Hair
Comment: May work on Dogs but definately not meant for Cat hair. Tried on my medium haired cat and kept jamming up on me, would not cut even. My cat looks like he has some disease now and is going to need to go to the groomers I did such a bad job. I attempted to use just the blade without the attachments and that would not even work on the hair. Big disappointment- I guess I get what I pay for.
