Customer Rating: Summary: An Original Christmas Classic! Comment: Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R2EXUFWRAERNVS Containing both secular and religious Christmas classics, John Denver truly delivered one of the greatest American holiday recordings ever conceived back in 1975. More than three decades later this heartwarming classic still shimmers with simple, engaging renditions of "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer," "O Holy Night," and "Little Town of Bethlehem". In addition original numbers like the beautiful "Aspenglow," the fun-loving "Please, Daddy (Don't Get Drunk This Christmas)," and "Dreamland Express" (frequently found on Denver's anthologies) make for a rich and well-rounded collection.
Customer Rating: Summary: No John Denver collection would be complete without this. Comment: I had this LP so many years ago. Wonderful to hear his sweet voice on "Christmas for Cowboys", "Aspenglow", two of my favorites. This is Denver at his natural best. No hype or strain, as on his later recordings. I could do without "Please Daddy Don't Get Drunk this Christmas" though.
Customer Rating: Summary: A Must Have CD Comment: This CD is the best. I had this on tape many many years ago and it brought back such great memories I just had to have a CD. Buy this and you won't regret it. It will take you back to another place in time.
Customer Rating: Summary: Always a classis Comment: I haven't had my hands on this "album" for years. I'm glad I took the time to get it in CD form. To me it does what music is inclined to do. It takes you back and reminds you of good times. I'm sure John would be in agreement.
Customer Rating: Summary: Rocky Mountain Christmas Comment: I have always loved this album. I have it on vinyl, but was happy to purchase a CD version of this recording.
