Customer Rating: Summary: Poor Quality Control Comment: Ordered two. Got Two.- One Perfect. Other Leaked. (small pin hole at base, no dents). Better quality control needed.
Customer Rating: Summary: Plastic Free! Yeah! Comment: A good way to keep track of your water intake. A little wide to hold if you have small hands. I like the screw cap to drink from.
Great way to rid of the plastic!
Customer Rating: Summary: Solid Comment: This water bottle does what it is supposed to. You want to put the cap on tightly, but if you do it does not leak. Not fancy and that is a good thing.
Customer Rating: Summary: WATER SMELLS AND TASTE LIKE METAL Comment: i don't think the after taste from this bottle can be a heathely thing.after trying many cleaning methods the taste and smell of metal was still present, i through mine in the trash after 2 uses,
Customer Rating: Summary: High Quality and BPA free Comment: This is an excellent little canteen. It's made from high quality stainless steel so it's resistant to corrosion and great at keeping your drink cool. The cap is also stainless steel covered with a plastic bit for strapping a carabiner or sting to.
Another advantage of the stainless steel is that it is BPA free, a chemical that is involved in the production of certain plastics such as polycarbonate bottles like Nalgene. A disadvantage of the stainless steel is that it scratches and dents more easily. It can also crack under really intense pressure, whereas the polycarbonate bottles can be run over by a car and still not breach. However, I don't think I'll be seeing that kind of damage to my canteen ever.
I also like the taste of water from a stainless container. I don't know if that's purely psychological or not, but I suppose it's the difference from drinking beer from a can or a bottle.

For those of you concerned with plastic water bottles, there is an alternative! This stainless steel drinking bottle is a re-usable, lightweight, container that does not leach toxins into its contents.
