Short term they are OK but over the course of a day or 2 the time will drift. Probably OK for a short haul stopwatch though. First, the extra large digit display is very easy to read for children to adults. The display measures over 3/4 inch in height! Other features include a daily alarm & hourly chime(this feature can be turned on or off),and a chronograph mode in 1/100 second increments with lap time. The time mode features hour, minute,second, month, date and day of week. A long Lasting lithium battery will keep this timer running for years before needing a battery change.
