Comment: This is an 30+ year old television series so it is a little dated. However if you like WWII shows this is a good one.

Comment: I was greatly pleased at the quality of the new dvds sold by Amazon and the quickness of reception by super-saver shipping. Both sets of Rat Patrol were perfect, flawless and complete with uninterrupted themes.
I had the option to go to individual episodes or let every episode run in sequence; giving a full length movie-like viewing experience! Recommended for history buffs and to youth. It is a no blood showing, suggested shootings only, pg13 type seried that is safely within good taste yet full of interpersonal drama and military strategy. I like to adventure to north Africa in WW2 and hear authentic languages: german, berber etc.
An exciting series.

Summary: Action, Nothing But Action
Comment: It is hard to remember that action TV show can be 30 minutes. The sitcom seems to dominated the form today, but the Rat Patrol reminds me that you can have a complete action-oriented story delivered in a nice bit size chunk. I remember this show from my childhood and picked it up on a lark. I am not disappointed. The producers failed to include any extra (nothing, not even promo clips are included--clear indication who ever green lighted the DVD release was hoping to trigger impulse buying), but they clean up the episodes and it look beautiful. If you like action shows, The Rat Patrol is worth buying.

Comment: Got this for my dad for Christmas. He loves it. I paid a little extra for standard shipping, and it still showed up a week late for Christmas, but otherwise very happy.
