Comment: I REFUSE TO PURCHASE THIS 2006 SET WITH ONLY 5 DISCS CONTAINING 14 FILMS CONSIDERING THE LOUSY QUALITY! WHAT ARE THEY TRYING TO SAVE, $2.00 BUCKS IN COST OF MATERIALS???
THE PREVIOUS SET 2003/2004 HAD 14 FILMS ON 5 DISCS AND A DECENT PACKAGE! COME ON...DOES A REISSUE HAVE TO BE WITH COMPRESSED DISCS IN A CRAPPY CASE???
SHERLOCK HOLMES LOVERS WILL WATCH THESE FILMS OVER AND OVER AND THEY NEED TO HAVE DECENT QUALITY TO LAST! WE WANT ONE FILM PER DISC, UNLESS A DOUBLE-SIDED DISC IS USED, THEN 2 FILMS PER DISC IS FINE.
THE PRICE ON THIS SET IS RIDICULOUS CONSIDERING THE PREVIOUS SET WHICH HAD A DECENT CASE AND 14 DISCS!
I WILL COPY THE FILMS I CAN GET OFF THE TV BEFORE I BUY THIS GARBAGE!

Comment: This collection was everything I thought it would be and more. The
collection is presented quite pleasingly in a book style case that I feel
anyone would be proud to have on their bookshelf. The disc themselves are
also very attractive and the films have been painstakingly enhanced by
modern digital technology and their quality is superior. I am extremely
happy with my purchase and very happy with the professional and courteous
way in which my order was handled. Please be assured that I shall

Summary: Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce THE BEST!!!!
Comment: All 14 movies which are in black and white. Are the best in being remastered didn't have a problem watching all the movies. Also Rathbone and Bruce are the best actors to portray Holmes and Watson. Its like the actors are friends in real life. I really really enjoyed watching all the dvd's and also how they explain how they fix orignal recordings of the movies so that we can watch it today. :-)
