By far I think that this mascara is the best out of the prestige lines. This bravo winning performance may be due to the precise placement of the rubber brush segments. They're carefully aligned and not all pushed together as in some other mascaras. Hence, lashes are lifted and separated as color is applied. In addition, the wand is slim for easy maneuverability on both upper and lower lashes. The new smooth glide brush is a major coup! Comment: I've ALWAYS had the problem with my mascaras smudging, running, looking like I'd gotten in a fight with Mike Tyson. But not this one! This is the absolute BEST mascara I have EVER used. It IS sort of difficult to remove, but boy, does it sure stay in place! I've gone swimming wearing it, showered with it, etc, and NO SMEARS EVER. Excellent product.
