Summary: constant targeted ice (or heat)
Comment: I had minor knee surgery a couple years back and have had slight discomfort in my knee ever since. especially after a long workout. Filling and ice pack, sitting in one place, and holding it against my knee for at least 30 minutes several times a week seemed unconventional. This knee wrap made the process so much easier. I simply leave it in my freezer and when needed, i wrap it around my knee. I don't need to be sitting in one place either with my hands tied holding it in place. My only complaint is with the material inside the wrap. It seems to shift around too easily deforming the shape of the wrap. Other than that, I'm very pleased with the product.

Comment: This is perfect for recovering from knee surgery. I'm told the swelling lasts a long time after a replacement, and the knee generates alot of heat while healing. Which I've found is very true. This is perfect to use when I get home from work. I can ice and make dinner at the same time. I use it in the car too, since there is no mess to contend with. I will definitely keep these in mind for other areas of need. Thanks for the well made product, it's already getting lots of good use.

Comment: Item returned since product was received in "used" condition and not "new" as was indicated when ordered. In addition, the plastic bag for freezing the elasto gel was even more "used"... Also product did get very cold when placed in freezer overnight and did not maintain coldness for more than 10 minutes. I tested it's ability for coldness before returning just in case I wanted a replacement. I guess there's never anything better than the real thing like frozen water, i.e. "ICE"...

Summary: Great relief knee wrap
Comment: This knee wrap has been a good-humor saver for me! It really helps the pain disappear. Of course, the velcro-ed ends grab on to anything near, and removing them is like trying to get an octopus to let go!
However, even with that, I would recommend this wrap to anyone having joint problems. It folds easily for storing in the plastic bag for the freezer.
And it's possible to walk, with the velcro bands securely fastened.
A good buy through Amazon.

Used to provide hot or cold therapy to the knee and will conform to fit better due to the patellar hole in the gel portion of the wrap. The tough, flexible gel will not leak if punctured and the 4-way stretch material will help ensure product durability and effective therapy and pain management. Like the other Elasto-Gel products, this can be put in the microwave for heating or in the freezer for cooling. Stays soft and pliable, even at -20 F. Provides 20-40 minutes of treatment per application.
