Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: Good, comprehensive multivitamin Comment: I switched to taking this multivitamin because it is the highest rated non-MLM vitamin in "Comparative Guide to Nutritional Supplements" by Lyle MacWilliam. I take two per day and feel great. Customer Rating: Summary: Best mulit I've found! Comment: I've taken a lot of multivitamins in my day. Hands down, this is the best one I've found yet. It's got good amounts of what I need, and you only need to take one pill twice a day (vs. 2 pills 3 or even 4 times a day). I feel more energy when I take it and notice a difference when I don't. It has never kept me awake, as another reviewer noted (if anything, I feel more relaxes). It covers all those basic bases I look for in a multiple. Doesn't give me nausea if I take it without food either, which some multiples have in the past. And it's light years ahead of Flinstone's and other garbage like Centrum, which are pitifully low in actual nutrients and aren't processed well by the body. Definitely recommend it! Customer Rating: Summary: Great Vitamin Comment: This vitamin works. Big names like Centrum don't. They do not contain extracts that help absorb all the vitamins in your body. What I mean is that Centrum goes in and comes back out. I was told if you take these vitamins with an empty stomach, you're going to have problems. Perhaps that is why they say in the directions to take them with your meal? I have no stomach problems and I am able to sleep like a baby. Because they ARE an energy activator, common sense NOT to take one before bed. Take one in the morning for breakfast and one either at lunch or dinner (if it's early enough). Not all vitamins are for everyone. Some people may have problems, some not. I am an average person, not allergic to anything and don't have anything "special". These vitamins work great for me. Customer Rating: Summary: STAY AWAY FROM THIS JUNK! Comment: This was recommended to me by a new owner of a longtime health food vitamin store I will leave nameless. At first you think these vitamins are very good, because your energy level starts to increase. After a while they do something to your stomach that you don't know whether to toss cookies or eat something. But you're hesitant on eating because you're afraid you might start singing "O' Solo Mio" into the porcelain microphone. However eating does help subside the queazy feeling. But who wants to go through that all the time? Then you'll find yourself tossing and turning most of the night not knowing why your heart is racing when you should be sleeping. My sleeplessness went away and general good health returned to me as soon as I stopped taking this junk. I threw the remaining tablets in the trash as not to be tempted to take them anymore. Proper multivitamis are supposed to give you a sense of well being, not the on-stimulant jitters. Stick to a well known brand like Centrum, One-a-Day, or even Flinstones chewables. Just because something is all natural doesn't always mean it's good for you. Poison ivy, poison oak, and poison sumac are natural. Would you want to consume them? Those things are not in this product. I'm just trying to make an important point. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED...
