Summary: Uh-Oh: Did you import your DS?
Comment: I imported my DS Lite a few years ago. That AC Adapter could be used in the US and Japan due to the range of voltages it accommodated. However, I learned of a Japanese DS Lite adapter recall due to it being a fire hazard. Since I'm not in Japan, I couldn't participate in the recall. To be safe, I bought a genuine adapter for the US market instead.
One last note: You can find several third party USB recharger for the DS Lite on Amazon. They are about the same price as this one.

Summary: Did I get a wrong adapter?
Comment: I ordered an international adapter i.e. 120-240V, as mentioned on the website. But today when I got the package, it says it supports only 120V and there is no mention of international voltage support.

Comment: I lost the original adapter that came with the game. I couldn't find one in my local stores so I went on-line. I'm very pleased with the product. I have shopped at Amazon for books, cd's, etc. and have always been satisfied with the service.

Comment: This adapter worked exactly as it was supposed to. My cat chewed through the cord of my previous adapter, so I needed a new one. I'm really glad this was available and the price was great. It was clean and brand new and fits in my DS case very well.
