Summary: Loved Sarah Brightman, Loved Enya, but this album beats them both
Comment: Okay so this is probably the last Christmas album I am going to get this season, but I think it is the best. I have gotten Sarah Brightman's, Enyas, and Yo Yo Mas, but I have to say this is the best out of the bunch. It may be recycled music, but this is my first windam hill christmas album so it is all new to me. It is quiet but not boring. The players here masterfully play the guitar. The songs are both relaxing and exciting. This album will be the perfect music for parties, wrapping and opening presents, cooking, baking, whatever your hearts desire this christmas. Enjoy I sure will!!!

Summary: Very soothing
Comment: Yes the majority of the music is on other works and the company should have informed the consumer. I do however like having all the great music pieces on one cd. Now you don't have to fish around your collection to play the tracks that you like. All the tracks are great. If your a Solstice fan like i am you'll love it. I do believe that there are some tracks that were not on any of the other cds. Great Christmas / holiday music. There are no vocals on this cd yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Summary: Buy this ONLY if you have no other Windham Hill Christmas Collections!
Comment: The music is superlative. You will not find better Christmas music anywhere. Well, I take it back...you WILL find the SAME tracks on all the old Windham Hill Christmas and Winter Solstice Collections. If you don't have those, or have no interest in them, then this is the CD for you. Otherwise, buy all the others, because the piano and other instrumentalists are exquisite as well. I STRONGLY urge you to pick up a copy of Windham Hill's Guitars (and other Stringed Things) A Windham Hill Christmas Collection. The music is all unbelieveably awesome, and it appears to be out of print now. A few copies are left for a few dollars, and I'm just glad I have it saved in iTunes so I don't have to worry about scratching my overused CDs anymore!

Comment: Music's great but the songs are old. If you bought this cd and have the other ones too then hey, you have a perfect xmas present for your loved one! No need to be angry... and anyway you get the cream of the tracks from previous compilations in one place now, all in the row.
