Customer Rating: Summary: AX-GC controller Comment: This controller wasn't even the authentic product. I didn't realize it until later when it broke after less than 5 days. The analog stick didn't work anymore and is was useless.
Customer Rating: Summary: Works great Comment: In the beginning, the control seemed to be a little off, but later it works perfectly.
Customer Rating: Summary: Sneaky, very sneaky... Comment: A controller is a controller, right? Not. Usually knock-off brands are ok at the very least, but come on. When playing a FPS (first person shooter) such as Medal of Honor: Rising Sun or Resident Evil 4, where aim is obviously crucial, the control stick would just freak out if it were pressed the slightest bit; but after that first touch on it when the stick is all the way down, it was fine. However, this made aiming extremely difficult. The c-stick would do the same thing. And when playing Super Mario Sunshine, or The Legend of Zelda: Windwaker where you use the left stick to walk around, I would ALWAYS overshoot a jump, or it would make me run in the wrong direction and fall off a cliff or something. You guys get the point.
The worst part is how they packaged it. While it's not actually a Nintendo brand, it had the actual Gamecube logo on it (which fooled me pretty good). Very sneaky. The other thing with this, is the fact that it looks JUST like a Nintendo brand controller, too. The compilation of these things made me buy it. This was my 3rd controller, next to my two other Nintendo brands. The last thing i noticed when i was playing a multiplayer game with some friends, we were rotating controllers to whoever died, and one was like, "dude, are there good controllers and bad ones? cause this one is weird". Thats when i noticed the good ones said Nintendo Gamecube right on front, and this one didnt.
SNEAKY!!!!!!!!!!!
Customer Rating: Summary: Purchased for son Comment: My son needed a new controller for his Game Cube. He is a very happy boy.
Customer Rating: Summary: Unsatisfied Comment: I ordered eight Nintendo Gamecube (AX-GC Controller-Black (SIM), controllers, put four into use about two weeks ago, and already three of them are starting to malfunction. The buttons are sticking or are not responding when depressed by the user. If I were electronically talented, I might be able to build one good controller from the eight I received. The only reason I gave this product one star was because I couldn't submit this review without a rating.
