Customer Rating: Summary: Great for Bitpim Comment: Great Product only downside it doesn't come with a driver so you have to find it online. It works with bitpim but it doesn't charge.
Customer Rating: Summary: Software Useless Comment: I have Vista on my laptop and do alot of traveling and wanted to connect to internet using USB Date Cable..software is not compatible with Vista ..waste of money!
Customer Rating: Summary: Great product at a great price Comment: For less than $5 (including shipping) this is a bargain, especially considering many vendors (Verizon, Susteen, etc.) are charging $20 or $30 for a cable. Download the open source software BitPim and you are all set to back up your cell phone data. I've also enjoyed creating my own ringtones from my MP3 files, again a savings over downloading them from Verizon.
Customer Rating: Summary: It's great on Vista Comment: This works great on windows vista! On Vista you plug it in and if finds the drivers automatically! For putting things on the phone you would need to download the program called BitPim : http://www.bitpim.org/. You can put videos onto your phone and get videos from you phone. My favorite is putting on ringtones. You just need a mp3 song of the what you want for your ringtone and you can edit how long and where you want the ring tones to start. My phone is a VX8300. P.s. the CD that comes with the USB connector cable is useless.
Customer Rating: Summary: a little complicated, but well worth it Comment: once you get past the install, and the complex search for software, it is real easy to get mp3s on your phone as ring tones. any mp3 on your computer. the software comes with a converter that allows you to reduce the bi-rate, and even pick the lenth and location of the clip you use, start your ringtone at the begining of the song, or the middle, or use the last 30 seconds. i'm pretty happy with it.
