Summary: Great knife for the money.
Comment: This knife works really well and cuts and slices with ease. I checked out various reviews of knives and this one always came under "good knife for under $50," and that is absolutely the truth. No frills, cuts well, will probably only last about 7-10 years, but that's okay for the value. Very happy with this purchase.

Comment: Very sharp. A bit light but then again it is only stamped. Before I purchased this knife, I did some research and found that Forschner knives indeed match the sharpness and longevity of other fancy forged knives. And it seems to show so far. Sure, forged knives are heavy and extremely sharp and strong. But if you cannot afford a $500 piece of knife then you should go for this as a second choice.

Comment: I read a review of this knife in Cook's Illustrated and decided to buy this product based on that review. I've since bought several by this company and have to say that it is beyond a doubt the best knife I've ever owned. It feels great in my hands and holds a excellent edge. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who spends as much time in the kitchen as I do.

Comment: great value, reasonably priced. It's very comfortable to use, not too heavy, not too light. I recommend it for daily use. You don't have to struggle with your knife. It has a sharp edge and makes cutting quick and easy.
