Summary: Nice idea - poor product
Comment: The string binds up and when it does shoot, it often only goes about 15'. The string breaks too often to make this product worth it. My son now uses it as a fancy gun/rocket launcher as my husband is tired of restringing the silly thing. Don't buy it - I wouldn't again.

Comment: The hook does not alway come out, the bobber doesn't alway work right and no fish have even nibbled. Most frustrating to an 8 year old who has hoped to catch a fish, even a nibble would have made this purchase reasonable,

Comment: Rocket Rod is great fun for kids and does catch fish. However it breaks about every 4 casts and needs to be restrung....which is quite a production.
