Summary: Different than I Expected
Comment: Overall, i think that the videos are of the quality i expected, but the content is a bit different. I expected more of a dance based exercise than it is. However, the videos seem to be working.

Summary: Not exactly defective Product - But still Not Recommended
Comment: I was excited to get the DVDs but on the Kick Start DVD the last section did not display at all and there was a bit of freeze framing with the previous section. I did see those negative review comments but didn't think they would continue selling these poor quality DVDs. Also, read the return policy before you order from this seller. I will need to email them for a RMA# and return address, lose the shipping cost and pay for the return postage and lose out on a 30% restocking fee (does that mean they will reshrink wrap and sell this item again?!
This is an addendum to my review. When I emailed the vendor, they responded quickly that they would replace my Kick Start DVD and suggested that my DVD player may need to be cleaned. I tried the DVD on my portable DVD player and it played fine, but not on my Panasonic. So, I can't fault the vendor and to some degree the DVD is not exactly defective. I would stay with the one star in my review for the inconvenience and unless you are quite fit, the fast movements may not work for you...it doesn't for me.

Summary: Miracle work-out for your muscles!
Comment: When I saw the paid ad on TV selling these DVD's I was skeptical and was certainly not interested in paying the price on the TV ad, so I decided to order this Kick Start set of DVD's through amazon.com and WOW! I was a dancer for 12 years and have always been looking for the opportunity to get my dancer body back, I have found the solution in Core Rythms! These ladies are great and will make you laugh with their enthusiasm and accents they try so hard to cover up! All of the different views you can look at during your work-out to make sure you are doing the moves correctly is really helpful and within moments you are sweating up a storm! I love it, I love how muscles are sore the next day like I have done a rigorous circuit training work-out at the gym, but have actually got an amazing work-out right in my own living room. There is no floor work (which is great for those who have a small living room) and it truly does give an excellent work-out. Just get it and stick with it! It's certainly not the easiest work out but I guarantee you will be impressed by how benefical your results are when you're done!

Summary: Mostly pleased: Look for the infomercial before you buy
Comment: I have had only a beginner's level of dance in my past. I have really enjoyed Core Rhythms workout. I do wish that there was also one step in-between the "Kick Start" video and to "Full and Quick Workouts." I like the intructions that you can go to on the workouts, but I don't like that I have to interupt my workout to get the instructions. It would have been nice if there was a type of "intermediate" video.
I had never heard of Core Rhythms before I bought it from Amazon. I was simply looking for "dance workouts" on Amazon and came across it that way. Amazon sells the starter package for $40 which I was pleased with. At the time I bought it, the website was advertising the starter package and 4 more DVDs for $120.00. Two weeks after I bought it, I came across the infomercial and they were selling all 8 DVDs for $60.00 and the website is now at that price as well. Also you cannot but the extra items separately so now the only way for me to get it is to sell what I have on E-Bay and buy it from the website or infomercial.

Comment: This workout video is pretty good. The workout isn't too intense, but I do work up a sweat. I like the different views that you can use. All in all I like it.
