Summary: The verdict is still out....
Comment: I got this version of Dry Shampoo over the spray can version because the spray can had a of of reviews that complained of clogging. I generally wash my hair every other day and on my off days (especially when it is so hot) I use baby powder to soak up the oils. I tried this thinking it would be a step up & I'm still not sure it's better than my Johnson & Johnson baby powder. The feel of it is a bit more like talc (a bit rougher I guess is the way to explain it), it definitely is not as smooth feeling a baby powder.

PROS:
- Smells nice (I like citrus-y scents)
- It has a nice nozzle so you can control more of where the powder goes
- It does it's job and nicely soaks up all oils

CONS:
- I'm blonde, and this leaves my hair dull and dusty looking. I could only imagine what it would look like in hair even a touch darker than mine.
- I recall someone's review saying "don't touch your hair because it will leave a cloud of dust"- boy is that ever true. I even tried putting it on the night before to give any excess powder time to fall off, no such luck.
- Did I mention how dusty it is? It gets underneath my nails and irks me all day long...

So, compared to the price of baby powder I would have to say that it's just not worth it. I was hoping it would look a lot nicer than it does. However, it definitely smells cleaner and does its job.

Summary: Dirty Hair Solution
Comment: This product definitely works to mask unwashed hair. A suggestion: DON'T use the applicator tip that is attached to the bottle. You'll have WAY too much powder in your hair and throughout the day, little puffs of smoke will appear as you move your head. Plus, you may look dandruffy. So, take a big, fluffy blush applicator brush and squirt some powder onto it. Then, tap it off into your sink. I swipe my oiliest parts--my temples, scalp in the front of my head and then the back of my neck--with the powdered brush. I have long hair, so I usually put up the front in a clip, leaving my bangs and the back of my hair down. Do note that it will make your hair look less shiny than when it's freshly washed, and I don't love the fragrance (but it's not terrible). All in all, a very good product.

Summary: This is the best I have found...
Comment: I have been looking for a basic, but great product to use in between shampoos or for those 'off-days' when I couldn't take the time to wash and style my hair. I work it through to my scalp, pull my hair back, and shower. It keeps my roots from getting that 'oily-look'.

Important: use the Dry Shampoo, NOT the Dry Shampoo Spray. Like other dry shampoo sprays I have tried, the nozzle gets clogged up too often and no matter how many times I soak the nozzle in warm water (not too mention piercing the hole in the nozzle with a pin), it still becomes more of a hassle than it should. As a result, you get less product. Stick with the regular Dry Shampoo.

Refresh, revive, and recharge hair and scalp without water. Pronto Dry Shampoo is perfect for use between washings, in a rush, or as a midday hair pick-me-up.This dry shampoo increases volume and removes dirt and build up in your root area in seconds.

Natural rice, oat, and tapioca starches cleanse hair by absorbing excess oil, product, and grease and increase hair volume at the roots without weighing hair down. Triclosan and tea tree oil help treat the scalp and reduce the occurrence of dandruff, while the invigorating lemon verbena fragrance leaves hair smelling and feeling fresh.

Directions For Use:

Separate sections of the hair using the pointed cap, tilt bottle and lightly squeeze to release product. Massage in to scalp using fingertips. Follow with a natural bristle brush to eliminate oil. Restyle hair as desired.

For a quick fix, pour Pronto into the palm of your hands, let travel to fingertips and massage into to scalp.
