Summary: Very adaptive
Comment: This is my first digicam and so I'm a novice and loving this camera. At it's easiest, you can trust Intelligent Auto Mode to take a great picture most of the time. But it's also very user-friendly and I'm quickly learning to go beyond the basic settings and play with other modes, functions and settings. The shots are great quality and look fabulous online or printed. The instruction manual is very easy to follow and learn from when you are ready to get into some more advanced operations. I would highly recommend this camera as a tool for beginners that are interested in starting with something not overly complicated, but that also offers the capacity to learn and grow.

Comment: La cámara actualmente está en Mérida Venezuela, tiene una resolución excelente, es cómoda y super sencilla de utilizar... TodavÃa la estoy probando, porque tiene muchos detalles y opciones... El estabilizador de imagenes, toda toda es genial. Yo le compre una memoria de 4Gb y la capacidad de fotos es super. Si quieres comprar una cámara te la recomiendo 100%... Saludos Marta

Comment: I have been using this camera for a few months now and I am very happy with it. The pictures it takes are amazing and in good light they look just as good as my friends Cannon DSLR, in low light his wins out but for the $800 difference I think I got a good deal.

With both a 30mm wide-angle Leica DC Vario-Elmar lens and a 5x zoom, this is one camera that does it all. You can fit more in the photo than you can with a 35mm lens, so you can get more of a sweeping landscape in a single shot. The 5x zoom is great for capturing dramatic shots of small or distant subjects. There's also an Extra Optical Zoom function that boosts zoom power to 8.9x in 3-megapixel resolution mode. Simply set the LZ10 to iA mode and let the camera do the rest. Intelligent Scene Selector chooses the mode that best fits the situation; MEGA Optical Image Stabilization (O.I.S.) helps prevent blurring from hand-shake; Intelligent ISO Control helps prevent motion blur; and Face Detection helps produce clear portraits by optimizing the focus and exposure settings.
