Summary: From curious but skeptical to re-order
Comment: Lush makes some very strange looking and weird sounding products. I purchased the Seanik Solid Shampoo out of curiosity and because it has such rave reviews. When it arrived, I thought that I had made a mistake. The small "puck" of solid shampoo looked like someone had "presto-logged" cheer laundry detergent with some hard green plastic stuff. But since I had spent the money, I felt that I needed to at least try it. Was I ever wrong! Every compliment that I read in the other reviews proved to be right on the money! Seanik smells nice and a few swipes really lathers up and rinses out quickly. One puck lasts us about a month. The green stuff (seaweed?) softens up with water,and although my family members had an "EUUWWW what's that green stuff" reaction at first, it is no longer an issue. My hair is very fine and I perm it for some body. I do not use a moisturizing rinse product with Seanik and my hair is easy to work with, fluffy, and shiny. I have never been a solid bar of soap user, always preferring liquid soaps before, but I just ordered 4 of these for family and friends.

Comment: Very nice shampoo with pleasant smell... suds up to a good lather & doesn't tangle my shoulder length curly hair. I do use a light conditioner afterwards with my hair type.

Comment: I'd tried a few Lush shampoo bars before I took the leap and bought Seanik. Never going back now. It's a wonderful, deep-cleaning little bar that's perfect for daily use - and *almost* moisturizing enough to go without conditioner! I tend to alternate using this and The Blonde, depending on the condition of my hair.
Given its convenient size, it's also perfect for slipping in a bag and taking it to the gym. A few swipes through the hair, rinse, a few minutes of blowdrying and you're left with shiny, full, bouncy hair without all the messy bottles.

Comment: I was a little skeptical about a solid shampoo, especially one that is so pricey, but I love this product! I have very fine hair that is easily weighed down by some shampoos and conditioners, but yet is permed so is also easily dried out at the ends. Seanik gets my hair clean without drying or weighing it down, and it takes very little to get a lot of lather. The scent is very light and I do not notice it at all once my hair is dry. (The Ultimate Shine solid shampoo by Lush is also a winner!)

Don't let Seanik's compact size fool you. This little puck of joy buffs and shines like no liquid can.
